Rhine has been kidnapped along other girls of different ages to be gathered and sold to become someone’s bride. Miles away from a place she has called home all her life, Rhine must face her reality that no one knows where she is, she must marry and bear children, and there is no escape. Can she survive this or will she die before her time?
I breeze through this book, it was very well paced. I thought the concept was unique, I haven’t read anything like this plot before. There were parts of the storyline that was a little unnerving for me, the fact that a thirteen year old was force to marry. Regardless of fact that girls die quicker and they need live long enough to bear children, I still was comfortable with it. Besides that, I enjoyed reading this book, and will read the next one.
I give this book 4/5 stars!
